A Tall Ship Comes to Town

Tall Ship 1

I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea’s face, and a grey dawn breaking.

                                                                                                 – John Masefield 1902

    • They are pretty amazing, aren’t they? You probably got to see some pretty good size ships there in Boston.

Unfortunately one of the ships was held up by weather so we only got to see the one. They were taking people on short sail trips and if they both were here they had a mock battle cruise where the two ships are firing cannons back and forth. That would have been pretty amazing!
